Continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD)

In Arabic: التكامل والنشر المستمر

Building apps

Automatically testing every code change and deploying it, so updates ship quickly with fewer mistakes.

CI/CD stands for continuous integration and continuous delivery or deployment. Continuous integration means every code change is checked automatically: the app is built and tests run. Continuous delivery means a passing change moves to staging or production automatically, without manual steps.

This automation keeps obvious bugs from reaching customers and turns deployment into routine instead of a stressful event. It matters even more when AI writes much of the code, because automated tests become your main safety net. Practical tip: start with simple tests for critical paths: sign-in, adding a product to the cart and completing a test payment. Block deployment if any of them fail. Those few tests protect you from most costly mistakes.

ExampleA developer edits the cart page, the tests run automatically and catch that tax is no longer calculated, so deployment stops before any customer is affected.
