Subscription billing

In Arabic: الفوترة بالاشتراك

Payments

Automatically charging customers recurring amounts, monthly or yearly, for an ongoing service or product.

Subscription billing means the customer agrees once, then the amount is charged automatically every cycle, monthly or yearly. It covers managing plans, free trials, upgrades and downgrades, retrying failed payments, cancellations and issuing an invoice for each cycle. It all needs reliable logic connected to your gateway.

The subscription model provides recurring revenue that is easier to plan around, and it underpins SaaS companies, gyms and monthly boxes. Not every payment method supports recurring charges the same way, so confirm your gateway supports the methods your customers use. Practical tip: make cancellation easy and clear, and send a reminder before renewal, especially after a trial. Design friendly messages for failed payments with a link to update the card; many cancellations come from expired cards, not unhappy customers.

ExampleA monthly coffee box charges subscribers on the first of each month and, if a payment fails, sends a card update link before pausing shipments.
